Our Story

Since our founding in 1999, Little House Montessori School has stood as a beacon of excellence in education, serving as a trusted partner in the growth and development of countless families.

Nestled within the charming community of Collingwood, our school finds its home within the historic walls of Trinity United Church, a beloved heritage site that dates back to 1863.

Stepping through our doors, students are greeted by the warmth and character of a building steeped in history, the halls echo with stories of generations past. As they explore our school's unique environment, students are not just surrounded by history; they become a part of it.

Our commitment to providing a quality Montessori education is deeply rooted in our surroundings. The rich architectural details of our historic building serve as a backdrop for hands-on learning experiences that engage and inspire young minds.  Every corner of our school becomes a gateway to discovery. At Little House Montessori School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the walls of the classroom.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to honouring the legacy of our historic building while embracing innovation and growth in education. We are proud to continue the tradition of excellence that has defined Little House Montessori School for over two decades, providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and succeed.
